It comes on at different times, but will air nationally on that day. Please try to tape it for your public relations use. The Good Housekeeping article has gotten us 155 phone calls. We are blessed for many new volunteers are in areas where we did not have coverage.

People Magazine is doing a piece and Rolling Stone is also doing an update of our work worldwide. Rolling Stone's piece will appear in Eric Boehlert's column in the last week of April. We were also interviewed by WINS 1010, NY, NJ, CT area, by news editor Jacklin Sayso. This piece will air on March 26 all day. We thank Dave Navarro of the Red Hot Chili Peppers for agreeing to be interviewed by Hard Copy about the band's involvement with us. We thank Bruce Hornsby for his interview with CNBC which will air in April.
Please read the calendar when it arrives to see if you have a pickup. I am sending new stationary for you to copy and use. Please remember to thank those who help you with each pickup. Please remember to send me a copy of the receipt. I am also enclosing a receipt to copy and use. Our Grammy Night food pickups were in Liz Smith's national column (enclosed). We will coordinate with the Grammy national committee for next year's food pickups.
Please begin to set up for the summer months now. Re-contact the amphitheater managers and promoters to insure smooth pickups. For those who are picking up Phil Collins' Tour, please call the arena the day of show between 12-2pm and ask for Scott of Eat Your Hearts Out Catering. He will tell you the best time to arrive to pick up the food. Please continue in your fundraising efforts. We are in desperate need. There is a fund raising letter for you to copy and use if you want. Please contact me for a copy. If you are moved by what we do, please send us a check. We are waiting for notification if our grant proposal was accepted by Share Our Strength, a Washington based philanthropy. We hope to hear in April. Those who are going to Boston for the Foodchain National Conference, April 2-5, 1997, please stop by our workshop. We would welcome your participation during our Q&A period. We look to add new bands this summer and re-enlist participating ones.
