Flash! Allman Brothers sign guitar for Rock and Wrap it Up!

We welcome James Taylor and Ozzy Osbourne's OZZ-fest 98 Tour for rejoining our organization (enclosure). We have commitments from Ani Di Franco, and The H.O.R.D.E. Festival and will look to hear from the many festival tours who joined us last year. We congratulate Radiohead, who joined us last month, on their Grammy for Alternative Band of the Year! An article appeared in The Christen Science Monitor and has gotten tremendous response (enclosure). We were featured in the March issue of American Food Nutrition Magazine. This piece was read by 75,000 school dietary personnel and will do much to open up doors for our school program. Copies of this 7 page piece are available upon request. Students were honored this month in Jacksonville, Florida and Lawrence, New York. The Rock and Wrap it Up! School Program must be in place three months for the certificates of appreciation to be sent. Starting next month, we will list participating schools and students on our homepage. We thank the Allman Brothers Band for their generosity in signing a new Fender Stratocaster guitar as an auction item for our silent auction fund-raiser. James Taylor has signed a T-shirt and will also sign a poster. Band managers, please have your acts sign memorabilia for our auction. We welcome new Illinois volunteers: Cathy Allen, Tinsley Park, Mike Ackers, Schaumberg, Kim Gerhardt, Palos Hills, Colleen Ryan, Chicago, Mark Tanka, Chicago, and John Feipel, Chicago. Please continue to send contributions as our expenses grow each month. We now have an extended group insurance plan which covers our volunteers from litigation above the protection of the Good Samaritan Law. This policy is expensive but was deemed necessary by our counsel. Please help defray the cost of this insurance policy.
