GALA EVENT—FUND-RAISING DINNER

Time is at hand for our first fund-raising dinner on June 18, 2001, honoring our board member and one of the founders of MTV, Leslie Leventman at Windows on the World. We hope to have many regional directors in atten- dance. Directors and volunteers should speak to Aimee Holtzman about special arrangements we are making for them. We will charge volunteers and regional directors $150 instead of $500 to attend. Leslie Leventman will be honored the first Lena and Joseph Mandelbaum Humanitarian Award. It will be presented by MTV CEO Tom Freston We will be presenting the Former United States Secretary of Agriculture The Honorable Dan Glickman with the first Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Award. It will be presented by the Late Bill Emerson's daughter, Abby Emerson Gilhooley for his work in helping to start the Rock and Wrap It Up! School Program. He served 6 years as Secretary of Agriculture in President Bill Clinton's cabinet. Many dignitaries and stars have RSVPed and there will be a surprise musical guest. It is not too late to respond.

SENSATIONAL RAFFLES

We are selling raffles worth $30,000 in prizes. Each raffle is $100 and can be purchased through Syd Mandelbaum. The prizes are one of a kind items and we have attached them to this newsletter. You do not have to be present for the drawing. Please respond ASAP as we are only selling a limited number nation-wide.

MARRIOTT HOTEL PARTICIPATES

We thank the Marriott Chain for becoming the second hotel to work with our concept of contractual obligation. We picked up 150 pounds of leftovers at the Glenridge NJ Marriott.

REMINDER TO MANAGERS

Managers. Please remember to include Rock and Wrap it Up!, Inc. as you plan your summer tours. We need to be added to your contract rider with each tour!
