Flash! Semisonic will sign certificates for RWU School Program!
We again thank Elton John and Rod Stewart for continuing with us on their fall tours. Our Everyone Wins On Election Night 1998 has received support from the Democratic National Committee. We are waiting for the Republican response within the next days. You will be asked to contact local directors of both Republican and Democratic State Parties to follow up on their mailings from the national committees. For those who are new with us, this program coordinates food pickups nationwide from election night parties in all 50 states. Independent Counsel Ken Starr's daughter Carolyn heard about Rock and Wrap it Up! at Stanford University (enclosed). Please continue to identify school aged people to start Rock and Wrap it Up! School Programs in your communities. Semisonic has agreed to sign certificates of appreciation for the school program. Please write letters of thanks to your summer volunteers and to the venues who donated the food. We have our fish and hook silver logo pins available as special thank you gifts to those who need to make an impression. If you need laminates please contact me. We thank Jeff Firestone, Fort Lauderdale FL for his generous donation of T-shirts. Please call if you need shirts for your volunteers and we will arrange to get them out. Thanks to Yvonne Gilchriest Shaw, VP of Human Resources for Seagrams & Sons for opening up the door for future opportunities to work with Seagram and it's subsidiaries.
